DAY 6: 5 people who mean a lot to you.
Change of challenge. I'm not listing just five of those people, and they know who they are.
Revised edition (yeah, it's the cheap, easy way to do it):
DAY 6: 5 songs you listen a lot to.
As of today:
1: Thrice - Daedalus
2: The White Stripes - Little Cream Soda
3: Anything System of a Down
4: Tool - H.
5: Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping up to Boston

Tomato soup
So, I just realized that if I don't start posting more regularly, Amalie will actually finish this challege before me, though she started two days ago, and I started.. well.. I honestly don't remember, but I'm sure it's closer to two months than two days.
Day 5, here we come! Six things I wish I'd never done:
You know, I really just have one thing to say:
Have no regrets.
That was easy enough. Tuesday, August 16, 2011
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Now, this one confuses me. Am I supposed to give you seven concrete thoughts that cross my mind a lot, or seven general objects/things that cross my mind a lot? I'll give you both, litt blanda drops. Ahahahah, å Roar <3
1: "Oh fuck, what time is it?!"
2: "Wow, I've missed these people"
3: "I'll do my homework, I just need a smaaall power-nap first" (soon/not-so-soon followed by thought #1)
4: "Why is there cereal all over my floor?"
5: "I'm-late-I'm-late-I'm-late-I'm-late..."
6: "What the hell am I going to do with my life?"
Aaand as for general things:
7: Mainly what I'm supposed to do with my life. And the amazing people who give my life meaning whether I know what to do next or not.
Aand now I'll leave you for some actual real people. Don't be offended, please.

Let's get this over with.
3rd post in my 10-post challenge, yay. Eight ways to win my heart, guys.
1: Be creative. As in, stick to your gut, not just this random list.
2: Speak sweetly to me in a different language. Unless you're Danish, in which case it will benefit you better to shut up.
3: Tell me your favorite song, and explain exactly why that's the one.
4: Call me. Don't facebook me, text me, msn me, or skype me. Call me.
5: ....Then again, a text goodnight doesn't exactly hurt either.
6: Don't agree with everything I say, just because you think I want you to.
7: Surprise me. The little things count the most.
8: Watch the sky with me.

'Said this would be where you'd find me.
Not that this was by any means a clear night, but you know what I'm saying.
Since Amalie's usual big, comfy boat had one or several holes in it, we used two seperate ones that she just bought at Nille. Issue? They were meant for kids.
I don't usually post pictures of my wet thighs on my blog, but this is just to demonstrate how much water that entered the boat when I did. See, we're used to run and jump into Amalie's boat.We tried the same thing here, clearly it didn't go so well. But hey, we made it out alright. And then I noticed that my phone was in my soaked pocket, and that my now soaked phone is broken. Grrrrrr.
But I was out there with min kjære, so it was all perfect. Until we got really cold and had to go back inside to take a hot shower. And then it was perfect again.
And this would be the only picture of me taken that night. I'll be the first to admit that I look drugged, but don't worry, it's just my usual behavior. Oh, I said don't worry that I look and act like this when I'm completely sober and everything? Scratch that, I guess.

"Chesh", in lack of inspiration for a better title.
I suppose you're expecting a post containing 8 ways to win my heart. As I have no heart, I'm saving that for a different time, when I may have acquired one.
(I know just which illustrating picture I want to use here, but google is not very helpful right now. That's why you get a random picture of Chesh darling)
Moving on.
I have all of 4 almost full days left in the US. I didn't quite realize this until I dropped off my brother and Silje at the airport, leaving me to be the next one to go home. But this is home. Oh, I'm so confused at the moment. And I feel strange. I have been planning and thinking about this year of my life ever since I was 12. And now it's almost over. I guess it feels strange because I feel so old now.
No matter how I feel about it, the final question still remains: Just how do you pack an entire room into two suitcases and a carry-on?

At this speed, my "10-day challenge" will be done by November.
Aaand here goes day two. I'll change the name to a 10-post challenge btw, as that suits my nearly non-existing blogging habits better. And they may not come in the right order. Or even right after each other. Just so we're clear.
So I guess I'll tell you nine things about myself. There's a fancy bonus for anyone who knew at least eight out of the nine! Now that you're all excited, let's commence.
1: When I was young (6ish), I wanted to become a firefighter (Very important detail: I changed the profession to branndame, instead of the sexist word brannmann.)
2: I procrastinate. A lot.
3: I have more than 10 rubber duckies in my room. I haven't bought any of them, they just show up now and then.
4: If you're ever wondering where to find me at 4 AM on a clear summer night, chances are I'll be right here:
5: My favorite non-Harry Potter fictional character is Dustfinger, from the Inkheart series.
6: I prefer the sunrise to the sunset. I also prefer night to day.
7: I adore ice skating, though I can't even skate in a straight line.
8: If I could have one magical power, it would be the ability to fly. I wouldn't care if I had to carry around large wings on my back, I just want to fly.
9: I have no clue what to do with my life after my next year of school.
Now I'm sure you feel like you know me all that much better. These weren't exactly dark secrets or anything, I'm not sure what you expected. Let's add a few things I know you don't know, unless you've been stalking me desperately for the last week.
1: I just saw the Mars Volta live, and my life is quite a bit closer to being complete.
2: Right now I'm playing my newest Manchester Orchestra cd on repeat. Which I've done for a week now, along with Thrice.
3: I need the charm Hermione used on her handbag for my suitcase, or else I'm never getting all this stuff back to Norway. (If you instantly knew what I'm talking about, whoever you are, wherever you are, I love you.)
